Our Counsellors

Anne Brown
Trained at Westminster Pastoral Foundation and has a Diploma in Integrative Counselling from Spurgeons College. She is a member of the BACP and has worked in private practice and the NHS. She also had a previous career as a consultant physician. Anne worships at a south London Baptist church and has been a Christian since 1953.

Bryn Thomas
Trained at WPF Counselling, the University of Kent and Spurgeon’s College, has an Advanced Diploma in Integrative counselling, is a registered member of BACP and has 15 years’ experience in the NHS. His Christian roots are in the United Reformed Church. While he takes his own faith seriously, he is also open to anyone with doubts about theirs. He now works online via Zoom.

Alex Williamson
Has held a Diploma in Counselling since 2004 and has a degree in Early Childhood Studies. She counsels both adults and children and is especially interested in the effects of childhood trauma and attachment on emotional development. Alex previous employment history involves work with survivors of domestic abuse, supporting teenage mothers and their babies and also supporting children with additional needs. Alex grew up in a family Church and currently worships at a CofE Church in South Croydon.

Hilary Rock-Gormley
Has held a Diploma in Counselling since 1997 and has an MA in Christian Spirituality. She has been in private practice since qualifying but has also tutored in counselling at Spurgeons College, Croydon and worked as an examiner and moderator. Hilary worships at an Anglican church in south London and has been a Christian since 1985.
